We try to collect as little data as possible. This page describes what happens with the information you provide.
What we collect
- Generated parody output, the artist name, the song title, and the chosen theme. These are saved at the unique result URL so the page can be re-loaded and shared.
- Your IP address in volatile (in-memory) form, only for rate limiting. Not written to disk.
- Standard server logs from our hosting provider (Vercel). These may include IP addresses and timestamps. We do not combine them with anything else.
What we do not collect
- We do not store the original lyrics you paste. They are held only in memory long enough to generate the parody, then discarded.
- We do not require accounts, email, or any other personal data.
- We do not sell data to anyone.
Third parties
- Anthropic — the lyrics, artist, song, and theme are sent to the Claude API to generate the parody. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Upstash — generated parodies are stored in Upstash Redis.
- Vercel — our hosting provider.
- Ezoic / advertising partners — when ads are enabled, third-party scripts may set cookies for ad personalization and measurement. You can manage these via your browser settings or the ad consent prompt.
Cookies
We don't set any first-party cookies. Ad providers may set their own.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
